The Mariah Foundation founder, Alysse Daniels, M.Ed, traveled with a delegation to Ghana’s Cape Coast in early July 2021. True World Link coordinated the trip to highlight history, engage in community, while accomplishing the foundation’s mission of exposing children to African and Pan-African history and culture. Our Mission

To expose children to African and Pan-African history and culture.

 

The Mariah Foundation volunteered at and provided books, reading material and school supplies to the Abudinsu D.A Primary School in Kumasi Ghana and the Moree D.A. Primary School in Cape Coast Ghana.

To know one’s history is to know oneself.

2021 Trip Accomplishments

Trip Goals:

Bridge Cultures

  • Volunteered and provided school supplies to a Ghanaian school to impact their learning

  • Formalized the Sister School relationship in Ghana with the Elementary School in Atlanta to create long-lasting relationships and support

  • Enhanced and enriched the lives of children in Ghana and Georgia and beyond

  • Supported the pillars of Ghana's “Beyond the Return” a 10-year Initiative to promote Pan African heritage and encourage an African Renaissance
